(mere droplets of rain / falling to the ground, bury into sand)
we're so alike, and we don't know it, and don't want to understand
Lives we spent are,
here and now
to be together or apart / we pass along side of each other
though we're one deep down at heart. And
I could swear, as I walk passed you
this is it, not love nor lust / just a thought, right in a moment
(where once were droplets, will be rust)
so as we walk passed by each other, strangers still, but could be not / no one knows it,
all is dreams
left behind, right here to rot
So I would think, to take a moment, chance of luck might be today...I still turn around once over / nothing comes or goes
this way.
So I rush pass' you,
catch your eye
I wink and blush,
I say good bye
I do not know you
nor do I care, enough to grant another stare /
So here we go our separate ways
there we part, right where we met
not a story has been told
not to remember or forget
Just another glimpse of light
as we go our separate ways
not recalled within our sights
'till the latest of our days.

Early winter 2005 of my life's.
I quit rhyme-ranting since then, unfortunately, poetry is just not my area of expertise. It all comes a bit too accidental to me, without enough thought to be considerably purposeful. I did grow to enjoy it quite a bit, but mostly reading what other people have to say.
good cheers,
oskomi
